About
Gaurav Singla
Software builder. Independent researcher. Reluctant believer in measuring the unmeasurable.
I build software for mission-driven organizations — foundations and NGOs — and I research questions most people wave away. Over the past year I’ve designed and shipped a fast, trilingual site for a spiritual foundation; a non-profit’s site with a full serverless application backend; and a custom suite replacing Salesforce for a medical NGO.
Alongside the building, I run an independent research program in economics and finance, using AI to study a question most people treat as a punchline and I treat as data: the economics of superstition — how beliefs about luck and auspicious timing shape real markets and prices.
I work mostly in the AWS ecosystem, and I like systems that are simple enough to explain and hard to break.
